At just 31, Conrad serves as General Manager of Mining at Life & Earth, where his focus lies in purpose, restoration, and people. His story reflects the spirit of innovation and determination that young professionals bring to our organisation.
A Journey with Purpose
Conrad started his career in mining and agriculture. He worked on mine rehabilitation projects and later expanded his skills to include sustainable farming practices. His passion has always been clear: to restore land and create long-term environmental value.
“The chance to return damaged land to its natural beauty inspired me deeply,” he explains. “It’s a meaningful way to give back—to nature and future generations.”
Learning and Leading Every Day
Conrad’s growth didn’t stop in the field. He enrolled in industry courses, embraced new challenges, and took every opportunity to learn from others. Thanks to this mindset, he developed both technical skills and strong leadership abilities.
“I’ve had mentors who invested time in teaching and guiding me,” he says. “Their influence shaped who I am—both professionally and personally.”
